Nova Scotia Seniors – Valentine’s Day

Posted Feb 06, 2017

Whether you are surrounded by family, your partner, or are spending Valentine’s Day solo there are many ways to celebrate the day!

Here are a few ideas to help you jump start your Valentine’s Day planning:

Have a dinner date

Eat chocolate during the day, dress up and go out for a fun night out to enjoy dinner and a play. What a fun way to spend an evening with a loved one!

Spend the day with the little loves in your life – your grandkids

Eat Chocolate. Mom & Dad want to go out for the evening (or the night) and you get to spend time spoiling their children – perhaps a little overfeeding of chocolate for when Mom & Dad get home and watch the fun begin (Tee Hee!)

Plan an Adventure Day

You have a whole year between to plan on doing something you have never done before – and to work up the courage – this always brings us out of our comfort zone –take a skiing lesson, sing at a karaoke bar, dance the Flamenco, swim with the sharks, sky dive (eek!) – whatever it is make it all about you!

Hit up the Spa

Go to the spa, have a massage, get a facial and a manicure, treat yourself

Spend a day with your family

Eat chocolate. Go for a drive – Nova Scotia has some of the best scenery in the world. Play games, go out for brunch or… just relax!

Whatever your Valentine’s Day plans are just have fun and enjoy spending time with the people you love!
